Sign in, change a password and recover access
Use the company administrator account, protect learner links and get operator-assisted help when access is lost.
Use the correct account
Open Varde on the published HTTPS address and sign in with the administrator email assigned to your company. The current release provides one IT administrator account per company. The platform operator provisions companies but has a separate operational role.
Employees open their private training links instead of signing into the company panel. Microsoft Entra directory import does not enable Microsoft sign-in. Administrator SSO, additional administrator accounts and self-service password-reset email are not available in this release.
Change the administrator password
- Sign in and open Settings. Use the change-password form with the current password and a strong new password.
- Store the new password in the organisation's approved password manager. Do not reuse it for another service or share the account through a team chat.
- A successful password change revokes the company's administrator sessions. Sign in again with the new password and confirm that the correct workspace opens.
- Use Sign out when finished on a shared or temporary device. Closing a browser tab is not a substitute for signing out.
If the administrator cannot sign in
- Check the approved Varde address, the designated administrator email and keyboard input. Avoid repeated guesses; failed sign-in attempts are rate limited.
- Contact your established Glippen contact through the agreed company support channel. Give the company name, administrator email, time and the visible error. Do not send the old password or a learner URL.
- The operator verifies the designated administrator through the established customer contact process before replacing the password. Recovery is not an automatic email link.
- Receive the replacement password through the agreed secure channel, sign in and change it in Settings. Recovery revokes existing administrator sessions and records an audit event.
If an employee cannot open a lesson
Check that the employee is using the private invitation for the intended assignment. Confirm active status and participation approval in People and review whether the link has expired. The administrator password is never needed to complete a lesson.
Do not paste the link into an open support conversation. An expired link needs a new assignment. If delivery is uncertain, resolve that with the operator before creating more invitations. The email-delivery guide explains these states in detail.
Provide useful support information
- The company name, affected feature and approximate time, including your time zone.
- The browser and device, steps taken and the visible error text.
- A cropped screenshot with participant information and private links removed.
- Whether other pages still work and whether the problem affects sign-in, a report, delivery or a lesson. Do not attach a full participant export unless requested through an agreed secure process.
