Set up your company's first training programme
A practical checklist for the IT administrator, from the first sign-in to a completed lesson.
Prepare the company workspace
Ask your Glippen contact to provision the company and its designated IT administrator. Agree the exact email domains that may receive invitations. All companies use the same panel, with separate company workspaces; employees use private lesson links and do not need administrator accounts.
- Choose an internal contact for training questions and participation changes.
- Decide which people should participate, explain the purpose and follow your organisation's approval process.
- Prepare names, work email addresses, departments and preferred language: Norwegian or English.
Add and review participants
- Sign in with the administrator email and the password shared through the agreed secure channel. Change that password in Settings.
- Open People. Add participants individually or download the CSV template, replace the example rows and import it.
- Review the imported names, email addresses, departments and languages. Use exact approved email domains; subdomains are approved separately.
- Record participation approval explicitly. An imported address alone does not give approval, and Entra import does not opt people in.
Create a small first programme
- Open Training and preview a lesson. The library contains sixteen bilingual lessons and seven ready-made programmes.
- Choose a programme, review its lesson sequence, select the intended participants and set suitable deadlines.
- Create the drafts. Check each draft's audience, name and deadline before launching the first lesson. Creating drafts sends no invitations.
- Agree one test recipient with your operator, confirm the configured delivery mode and launch only the intended assignment. Confirm receipt and a working private lesson link before extending the rollout.
Follow up after launch
Keep the training page open while invitation batches run. If you leave, use Resume to continue invitations that have not started. Check delivery states before retrying; provider acceptance is not proof that a message reached the inbox.
Use completion and overdue views to plan follow-up. Programme deadlines do not automatically launch lessons or send reminders. Ask learners to complete their own knowledge checks; an administrator preview does not complete an assignment.
Ready for the next group?
- The administrator can sign in and knows how to request recovery.
- Participants, departments, languages and participation approval have been reviewed.
- The first recipient has received the invitation and opened the correct lesson.
- The owner of the programme knows who launches later drafts and follows up overdue work.
